Damon Brinson has seventeen years of experience defending manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, industrial equipment, and chemical products. His litigation experience extends from case work-up to appeals, and includes depositions, expert discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, trial preparation, and trial. He has extensive experience writing and arguing law- and evidence-based motions such as federal preemption, Daubert-related expert challenges, the Learned Intermediary Doctrine, and Iqbal/Twombly pleading challenges. He has also managed and defended large-scale eDiscovery collections, reviews, and productions.

Mr. Brinson's medical device and pharmaceutical product liability experience includes the defense of wearable cardiac defibrillators, ventricular-assist devices, implanted peripheral nerve stimulation devices, surgical and tissue ablation devices, MRI machines, anti-seizure and gastrointestinal medications, prescription cosmetic products, and multiple drug infusion devices. In addition, he has experience conducting litigation risk assessments for companies marketing new products and preparing physician- and patient-directed materials.
Mr. Brinson's industrial experience includes the defense of natural gas detection and alarm equipment, ammonia refrigeration plants, heavy construction vehicles, industrial protective equipment, and OSHA safety and other industrial consulting services.
In his prior career, Mr. Brinson worked as a senior manager and consultant in the financial services sector, overseeing information technology, information governance, and technology development and providing operations leadership for brokerage, banking, and insurance companies.
